The Moon Phases

Today we where learning about the different Phases of the moon.

Swimming lesson

Today we had a swimming lesson that went on from 1:00-1:30
Today we did whole lengths.
First we did two whole lengths of free style.
Next wee did back stroke.
Then we did kicking on out back
Ding all of this before going to box fit then basketball made me exhausted.
I was even wondering if I was going to survive through out the three activities.
Likely I did I was able to hold on and push through it.

Guy Fawkes with my family and friends

On guy Fawkes day my family had a BBQ. willie and October came over.While we where doing our fire works MT Wellington was on fire because someone was trying to be funny and set it one fire. I had chills down my spine because I thought no one was going to put it out but luckily the fire department is close because they where able to put the fire out.Then while I was watching the news on T.V one a video of the mountain was on the news.I was thinking about why who ever lit the mountain on fire did it for.Lickily no one was hurt because if someone was hurt the family would be upset because there family members life is at risk.
So heres some advice for the young people out there dont play with matches or lighters because something similar to this might happen.

Looking At Friendship

Fast And Furious 7

How was everyone's holiday I want to know about it.
Mine was awesome because last Friday I went to watch Fast and Furious 7 with my two Uncles,My Sister and My Dad.
It is an amazing action movie.
I would tell you my highlight of the movie but I would just spoil a part of the movie.
But my favorite part of the movie is around the ending.

My Thinking goal for this year is to ask questions in class discussions.  

I think this because if i’m not sure of any words in the discussion I can ask open questions that relate to the topic i'm learning.

Relating to others:

My goal for relating to other is to listen actively and negotiating and sharing ideas in group discussions.

I think this because if I listen actively to the speaker I might learn something new.

Using language, symbols and text:

My goal for using language and text is to use different systems of language and symbols to represent and communicate information,experiences and ideas.

I think this because I need to improve the way I present my work in different learning areas throughs signs, symbols, texts and different DLOs.

Managing self:

My managing self goal for this year is to have a can do attitude.

An example of how I will show a can do attitude is by doing my work to a high standard and finishing it properly.

At the pools

The first thing that was attached to my eyes when i entered the swimarama lagoon in panmure was the bright blue pool. As we entered the outside pool we saw public people swimming and splashing in the water. We also saw life guards standing on the outside of the pool. We were explained the rules and expectations of the pools,And also got introduced to one of the life guards. Right after that miss Barlow Introduced the program to the Student then we got Spit up.

                                

                                          Duatlon

This was when the fun began. When we were separated we sat on the grass and were being told the instructions of how to do the duathlon. Next Miss Aireen separated us into twelve even groups. First we run down the side of the wall then we had to swim 2 lengths before running the basin. As i was running 1km down the basin my heart was beating as fast as a cheetah. My team and I stayed and ran together because some of us were slowing down. All that I could smell while running  with my team was nothing but salt water. When we arrived back at the gate we went and grab our lunch.Afterwards Miss Fepuleai was explaining the rules of where to swim and were not to swim. I was burning. As she was talking i was staring at the crystal clear pool imagining how cold the pool was. When i jumped in my body was sizzling

                                  

                                         Freetime.    

In the pool I was playing with willy illy. We were playing human vs squid. Humans were trying to capture us while the squid was running away. some of the teachers hoped in the pool.They had a happy entrance because as they walked in the student were wetting them. Some student were playing volley ball and having swimming races. Then we had lunch time. When i was grabbing my lunch i could hear the BBQ sizzling.I was very hungry.        

  Ending

After lunch the year seven and eights were allowed to go on the diving board. I was watching them and some of them were booming really high. Then when we got of the diving board we had to get changed.

and that was the end of the fantastic day.
